Shaun Rachau
Founder

Shaun Rachau is an accomplished marketing, digital, retail and licensing executive with 25 years of experience developing and directing effective growth strategies with consumers, retailers and licensors associated with iconic brands in sports, music and entertainment. Rachau founded Ryno Sports in 2022 to create a licensed sports apparel brand that primarily focuses on key marketplaces where consumers shop online.

Prior to Ryno Sports, he achieved significant revenue growth leading e-commerce, digital strategies, licensing and marketing for apparel brands while at Hybrid Apparel and Junk Food Clothing from 2019-22 after building successful strategic marketing initiatives at Fanatics (2018-19), New Era Cap (2015-18) and Fender Musical Instruments Corp. (2013-15). Rachau has worked with sports and entertainment licensors, including the NFL, NBA, MLB, NFL, MLS, Disney, Warner Bros., Viacom, The Beatles and numerous others.

Rachau also spent 15 seasons in Major League Baseball as a marketing and communications executive with the Arizona Diamondbacks (2006-11), Los Angeles Dodgers (1996-2004) and San Diego Padres (1996). He earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Arizona State University.

Mario Foresta
Creative Director

Mario Foresta is a seasoned creative leader in the licensed sports apparel and headwear space with more than 15 years of experience collaborating with brands in sports, entertainment and fashion. Foresta joined Ryno Sports as Creative Director in 2022 to lead the company’s branding and creative direction and offer a differentiation by developing on-trend fashion sports apparel for key online marketplaces and retailers.

Foresta spent 15 years (2006-20) as a Senior Design Manager at New Era Cap’s regional offices in Irvine, Calif. overseeing art direction for the headwear company’s collaborations with brands in the action sports, streetwear, fashion and music industries. He worked with notable streetwear and fashion brands, including Supreme, Troy Lee Racing, Stussy, Red Bull, Fear of God, North Face, DC Shoes and Quicksilver. Foresta also worked on New Era’s most important collabs with the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Kendrick Lamar, Kid Cudi, DJ Khaled and the Los Angeles Dodgers, among others.

Foresta has also worked with numerous companies and apparel brands through his own design and brand consultant business, Mario Foresta Design. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Fine/Studio Arts and Art History from UC Santa Barbara and is a Certified Digital Marketing Professional (CDMP) from the Digital Marketing Institute/American Marketing Association.
